Working as part of the VNFC Daycare Team, and reporting directly to the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Manager and Director, the Early Childhood Educator works to enhance developmental skills and create an inclusive setting in a culturally relevant learning environment.
Working as part of the VNFC Housing Team and reporting directly to the Manager of Housing Supports, the Housing Support Worker is responsible for providing individual and family support and assistance related to housing for persons who are identified as unsheltered and/or at high risk of becoming unsheltered. Programming by housing support workers consists of outreach supports connecting with unsheltered community members, collaborating with other agencies and organizations supporting the unsheltered community with advocacy, supports and resources to remove barriers for appropriate and successful housing. This position requires a valid class 5 Driver’s Licences with a clear driver’s abstract.
Working as part of the Family Development and Food Security Team, and reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the VNFC Programs Cook provides nutritional services to VNFC programs and the community through helping to prepare and cook healthy foods.
As a member of the VNFC Housing Team, reporting directly to the Housing Operations Manager, the Property Administrator operates from a strong Indigenous cultural foundation and promotes a family-centered approach. This role provides a range of confidential administrative services to support the Property Management office, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer service for tenants.
Working as part of the Shelter Team, and reporting directly to the Shelter Manager, the Overnight Supervisor provides supervision and support to frontline staff on shift as they operate the VNFC Shelter, which provides temporary shelter for unhoused community.
