AURICULOTHERAPY (EAR BEADS)

“Auriculotherapy” (meaning “therapy on the outside of the ear”) is like foot reflexology, but instead of using the foot, the entire body is mapped onto the ear. By pressing on small seeds/beads temporarily adhered with medical tape to specific points of the ear, we can stimulate the internal organs. These treatments can be used as a form of home-care between regular medical appointments, and as support for lifestyle adjustments. Treatment protocols are available for addiction/detox (smoking, alcohol, drugs), anxiety, back pain/sciatica, diabetes, depression, headaches/migraines, insomnia, stress, and weight loss. Basic treatments are free, aromatherapy beads treated with essential oils (peppermint, lavender, or orange) are $2/treatment, and Swarovski crystals set on tiny gold beads can be used in place of the basic free ear beads and are available for $1 each. Appointments can be made with Reception in 10-minute intervals between 12:30 PM and 1:40 PM on Fridays.
