Wellness Clinic

THE WELLNESS CLINIC OFFERS:

   

LUNCH AND LEARN:

Every second Wednesday of each month, from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, a Health Clinic is held, sharing health-related information and resources on various topics.  Guest speakers will be brought in periodically.  No registration is needed.  Please drop by!

 

HERBAL MEDICINE:

Herbal tinctures, teas and capsules are dispensed, by donation, from Pacific Rim College to treat a range of conditions.  Consultations are at no charge and medicinal herbs are by donation.  Appointments can be made with Reception for 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM on Wednesdays.

 

 ACUPUNCTURE:

Every Friday at the Centre, from Pacific Rim College to treat a range of conditions, no charge. Appointmetns can be made with reception for 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM.

 

NUTRITION CONSULTATIONS:

 The Nutrition Clinic is provided by students from Pacific Rim College. The clinic every Thursday, appointments are booked for 12:30 and 1:30. You can book through reception.

 

PHYSIOTHERAPY: 

The physiotherapy Clinic is provided by a Registered Physiotherapist named Jocelyn Chandler. Jocelyn will provide her services for a range of different injuries, priorty will be given to those clients who are considered to have safety risks at home, at risk of developing pressure sores or have actute injuries (fractures, sprains, recent surgeries) Appointments booked through reception.

 

COMMUNITY MASSAGE:

The Community Massage is provided by a Registered Massage Therapist named llinca Carbureanu, this service is offered alternating Monday's. Appointments can be pre-booked no more than one week in advance. We also ask that you commit to attend your scheduled appointment as they are limited. Please cancel ahead of time if you are unable to attend. Appointments can be booked through reception. 

 

NEURALIVE:

The Neurofeedback brain training is a natural, safe, and non invasive technology that promotes improvements in performamce,attention, sleep, emotional well being, and more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The VNFC Wellness Clinic is proud to receive money from the Greater Victoria United Way. Look for expanded programming including yoga, meditation, specific addictions groups, traditional healing in the near future.
